I am now 14 years old. I am happy to have a new school here. When I grow up, I want to be a doctor and help other people. (Sixth grade 14-year-old elementary school student)
I cannot remember the last time I was in a decent school building. My favorite subject is Cambodian, and I do not like math very much. I love going to school and playing with friends. Today, I had fun jumping rope. (Fourth-grade 14-year-old school student)

Cambodia is an energetic country, putting a lot of effort into reconstruction and modernization. I believe that the children of Cambodia will have a bright future when they grow up. (A participant from Niigata)
Support to Cambodia does not include only money and material things. The “Kome Hyappyo” spirit of perseverance, shared by the people of Nigata and Cambodia, will also contribute to reconstruction of the country. I could see great joy and gratitude in the children’s clear eyes. (A participant from Niigata)
